After my painting of death as the fourth horseman I was asked to do all of the horsemen. So here's the second one, War.

Inspired by war in 'Darksiders'.

"When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come and see!" Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword."

the rest of the horsemen I've done:

A work in progress for the last one:

the four horsemen are Conquest, War, Famine and Death, at least in the bible. I haven't done Conquest yet.

Conquest? Hmm.. Famine, Pestilence, War, and Death.. I think I am thinking about the new found distinction. I read that The pale horse is/was conquest and then became the green/rotten horse pestilence. But good work! I love the horsemen!

According to wikipedia and bibles I've come across it's Conquest on a white horse, War on a red horse, Famine on a black horse and Death on a pale/green horse. but in pop culture its more common with Pestilence.

Cheers!

I thought it was Death, War, Famine, and Pestilence? Well, at least that's how it is in the show Supernatural. xD

That's the more 'pop culture' version of the four horsemen.
